Do I need to purchase C2EP courses or materials to prepare for the exam?

C2EP does not offer preparatory courses or materials, and no specific course or study guide is required. For candidates who desire a study guide, C2EP recommends those produced by AWWA and WEF.

Candidates may use a silent, non-programmable calculator without alpha keys or printing capabilities. A Formula/Conversion Table will be provided to you at the time of testing.

What is Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP)?

AMP is a company that partners with C2EP to administer C2EP examinations. AMP will work with the candidate to schedule the examination at an AMP testing facility. AMP staff administer, proctor, and monitor the examination process. AMP does not develop exam content or certification criteria, and does not influence certification decisions.

I did not pass the exam. How can I better prepare?

The score report you received at the test center includes a diagnostic report indication your strengths and weaknesses in exam areas. Cross-reference this report with the appropriate Need-to-Know Criteria (available on the Examination Preparation page for the certification you are seeking) to identify topics for further study.

Candidates may submit comments about exam questions during the exam session by clicking on the button displaying an exclamation point (!). This opens a dialogue box where comments may be entered. Comments will be reviewed, but individual responses will not be provided and scores will not be adjusted. Comments are only accepted at the time of the exam.

Something went wrong at the testing center. What should I do?

Immediately report the issue to the AMP staff person monitoring your exam. AMP will work with you to resolve the issue or refer the issue to C2EP. Please note that C2EP will not change candidate score results.
